Today I got my first ever Ring Dinger®

My Ring Dinger® Backstory

I first became a fan of Dr. Gregory Johnson in 2017 after I started doing some Chiropractor website work. I got interested in the subject matter and became an instant Crack addict!

Out of all the Chiropractor videos I saw, none showed the clear and visible results like the people who got the Ring Dinger® adjustment.

Within a 10 – 15 minute period, I could see the visible difference of the person from when they first started.

I also liked how Dr. Greg Johnson would explain the biomechanics of what he was doing as he adjusted the patient. He did a great job educating his audience while bringing real relief to the person he was adjusting.

As much as I loved all of the videos, I knew I didn’t have the time or finances to travel to Houston, Texas and get an adjustment for myself.

However, in recent years, Dr. Johnson has opened up a program to train other Chiropractors on his technique and business model. He started building what he called Team Ring Dinger® and started training Chiropractors from across the country.

This gave me hope that I might find a Ring Dinger® Chiropractor near me that would be able to perform this adjustment. There were a few that popped up over the last few years but even then they were 4 – 5 hours away.

My Ring Dinger® Experience

I needed to visit someone closer so that I could make a day trip out of it. Thankfully, a few months ago, Dr. Wes Richardson from Spine Align Chiropractic, PLLC opened up in Walkertown, NC.

He was the only Ring Dinger® Chiropractor near me from where I live in Virginia. So I was willing to drive a little over 2 hours to visit his office.

Now, the question for me was, did he do the Ring Dinger® as good as Dr. Johnson?

I decided to check if he was on YouTube and sure enough, he had some videos up of others getting the Ring Dinger® and feeling great. So, I looked at my schedule, saw an opportunity and went down to visit him.

Dr. Wes explained everything to me and tested my neck, shoulders, arms and legs to see if I had any weakness or pain. As he was checking me over, we talked a bit about my love for Dr. Johnson and the Ring Dinger®.

I had never gotten a full body Chiropractic adjustment so the whole experience was new for me. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous but Dr. Wes did a great job helping me to relax as he started adjusting my back, neck, arms and legs. I was a bit sad that I didn’t “pop” more but he told me that the more relaxed I was, the more cracks we’d get out of me.

Then, the moment I had been waiting for arrived. It was Ring Dinger® time!

Dr. Wes’s assistant got the phone out, stood on a stool over me and started filming. The video above is my reaction.

What Does A Ring Dinger® Feel Like?

It’s hard to describe the experience of getting the Ring Dinger® but I’m going to try.

First of all, the pins holding me in were tight but not too uncomfortable. The towel around my neck was really warm and felt good.

I could feel him gently tugging on my neck but no matter what, nothing could prepare me for the shock that was coming.

It was over within a second but it felt longer to me. I could feel the vertebrae in my spine separating and coming back together.

I felt the most traction and cracks from my mid back up through my shoulder blades.

There was some traction in my lower spine down to my tail bone and in my neck too. It wasn’t as evenly distributed as I was expecting.

I imagined it was going to be more like a line of dominos falling and each vertebra opening up in sequence. I must have had the most tension in my mid to upper spine or something.

I wouldn’t say that I felt any pain but there was some soreness for a couple of minutes.

After all, I’ve had a compressed spine for 44 years and no telling how many adhesions had built up.

It also took my breath away slightly.

By the time I got up from the table, I felt lighter and straighter than I had in a long time.

I’ve been working on my posture and trying to sit and stand upright more to build up my core.

I can say that having the Ring Dinger® adjustment has made it a lot easier to maintain good posture.

I also haven’t experienced any soreness since those first few minutes, which was a bit surprising to me. Some people need crushed ice after getting a Ring Dinger® and I was expecting to need that.

I made the drive back home to Virginia and felt good the whole way home. I’m still feeling good!

Final Thoughts On The Ring Dinger®

In conclusion, the entire experience, from the drive down, getting the adjustments and Ring Dinger®, and the $180 I paid was all worth it. Like the Terminator, I’ll be back.

I know that a lot of Chiropractors dislike the Ring Dinger® but it doesn’t make sense to me. At the peak of Dr. Greg Johnson’s YouTube fame, there were people traveling as far as Australia and China to come get this one adjustment.

I was willing to travel over 2 hours away instead of stopping by the many different Chiropractic offices throughout Virginia, just to get the Ring Dinger®.

I’ll continue recommending Dr. Wes Richardson and his office at Spine Align Chiropractic, PLLC to my family and friends. The experience has been wonderful.
