Experiments
When I started this blog in 2013, I honestly didn’t know what I was going to write about. I’m a web designer who creates websites using content management systems such as WordPress. I knew I wanted my blog to focus on that somehow. Truthfully, I almost abandoned the blog due to writers block, until I finally realized that I wanted to write reviews on various website tools that small businesses could use to improve their website presence. Also, these tools would all have to be able to integrate with either the WordPress or ExpressionEngine CMS.
So, I started writing a few reviews on some website tools I had experience with. However, I felt there was something missing. There were tons of reviews online for some of the tools I wanted to write about, and I knew I wanted to stand out. So how do I do that?
Well, I decided that instead of just writing reviews, why not write about the experience in using the website tools so people can see how I actually used them? So, the posts below are experiments where I actually write about a tool I’m using for myself or for a client. At the end of the experiment I will write up my review, but instead of just taking me at my word, my readers will be able to see how well the tool performed.
